Bailey Road (officially renamed Nehru Path, though universally still called Bailey Road) is Patna's most important arterial road, running from Income Tax Golambar in central Patna westward through the city all the way to Danapur Cantonment, a stretch of approximately 15 km. The road is flanked by Bihar's most significant civic and governmental institutions: Patna High Court, the Bihar Secretariat, Patna Zoo, Bihar Museum, and Patna Airport. It is also the alignment chosen for the Patna Metro Red Line (Corridor 1), which will have eight stations along Bailey Road once construction completes. F
